- Property owners and managers who subscribe to our Services ("Customers")
- Authorized users of Customer accounts
- Individuals whose images or vehicles may be captured by SCT+ cameras deployed on Customer properties ("Monitored Individuals")

By using our Services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy. If you are a Customer, you are responsible for providing notice to individuals who may be captured by cameras on your property, as required by applicable law.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Video and Image Data
- Continuous video footage captured by SCT+ cameras deployed on Customer properties
- Still images extracted from video for alert and event purposes
- Infrared and night-vision imagery
2.2 AI-Processed Data
Our AI systems automatically process video footage to extract:
- Facial characteristics: Facial feature data used for person identification and re-identification across camera views
- Vehicle information: Vehicle make, model, color, type, and directional movement
- License plate data: Alphanumeric plate numbers captured via automatic license plate recognition (LPR/ALPR)
- Person attributes: Clothing color, body type, and movement patterns for search and identification
- Behavioral analytics: Loitering detection, perimeter breach detection, crowd density, and unusual activity patterns
2.3 Customer Account Information
- Name, email address, phone number, and job title
- Company name and business address
- Billing information (payment card details processed by our payment provider)
- Login credentials (passwords stored in hashed form only)
- Communication preferences
2.4 Usage and Device Data
- Platform login times, session duration, and feature usage
- Device type, operating system, browser type, and IP address
- Mobile app usage data and push notification preferences
- Camera configuration settings and alert preferences
2.5 Cookies and Tracking Technologies

- Creating event clips and incident packages
- Maintaining chain-of-custody documentation for law enforcement use
- Preserving footage subject to legal hold requests
3.4 Service Improvement
- Improving AI model accuracy and reducing false positives
- Developing new features and capabilities
- Optimizing camera placement and configuration recommendations
- Analyzing system performance and reliability
3.5 Communications
- Sending service alerts and system notifications
- Providing customer support
- Delivering product updates and security advisories
- Sending marketing communications (with opt-out available)
4. AI and Automated Processing
4.1 How Our AI Works
SCT+ uses artificial intelligence and machine learning to analyze video footage in real time. Our AI systems:
- Process video frames to detect and classify objects (people, vehicles, animals)
- Extract identifying features for search and re-identification
- Compare detected characteristics against Customer-defined watchlists or alert criteria
- Generate confidence scores for matches and detections
4.2 Automated Decisions
Our AI may trigger automated actions including:
- Sending push notifications or alerts to Customer accounts
- Activating deterrence measures (lights, audio warnings) based on pre-configured rules
- Escalating events to our human monitoring team for review
- Flagging footage for priority review
4.3 Human Oversight
All automated AI decisions that result in significant actions (such as contacting law enforcement) include human oversight:
- Our 24/7 monitoring team reviews AI-generated alerts before taking action
- Customers can configure the level of automation for their systems
- Human operators verify identity matches before sharing information externally
- Customers can review and dispute any AI-generated classifications
4.4 AI Model Training
- AI models are trained using aggregated, de-identified datasets
- Individual Customer footage is never shared with other Customers
- Customers may opt out of having their footage used for model improvement
- All training data is handled in accordance with our data security standards
5. Data Storage and Retention
5.1 Cloud Recording
- Standard retention: 30 days of continuous cloud recording per camera
- Extended retention available upon Customer request (additional fees may apply)
- Footage is stored in encrypted form in our US-based data centers

5.3 Data Deletion
- Footage is automatically deleted after the retention period expires
- Customers may request early deletion of specific footage
- Upon service cancellation, all footage is deleted within 30 days unless subject to legal hold
- Deletion is permanent and cannot be reversed
5.4 Encrypted Storage
- All data is encrypted at rest using AES-256 encryption
- Data in transit is protected by TLS 1.3
- Encryption keys are managed through a dedicated key management system
- Backup data receives the same encryption protections as primary data
6. Data Sharing
6.1 Law Enforcement
We may share Customer footage or AI-processed data with law enforcement:
- At the Customer's direction and authorization
- In response to valid legal process (subpoena, court order, or warrant)
- In emergency situations involving imminent threat to life or safety
- We notify Customers of law enforcement requests unless legally prohibited from doing so
6.2 Service Providers
We work with carefully selected service providers who process data on our behalf:
- Cloud infrastructure providers (data hosting)
- Payment processors (billing only)
- Communication services (alerts and notifications)
- All service providers are bound by data processing agreements and confidentiality obligations
6.3 What We Never Do
- We never sell personal information or video footage
- We never share footage between Customers
- We never use Customer footage for advertising purposes
- We never provide footage to third parties for commercial gain
6.4 Business Transfers
In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, Customer data may be transferred to the acquiring entity. We will provide notice before any such transfer and the acquiring entity will be bound by this Privacy Policy.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:
7.1 All Customers
- Access: Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
- Correction: Request correction of inaccurate personal information
- Deletion: Request deletion of your personal information, subject to legal retention requirements
- Data Portability: Request your data in a machine-readable format
- Opt-Out of Marketing: Unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time
- Opt-Out of AI Training: Request that your footage not be used for AI model improvement
7.2 California Residents (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act and California Privacy Rights Act:
- Right to know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose
- Right to delete personal information we hold about you
- Right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (we do not sell personal information)

7.3 Other State Privacy Laws

7.4 Monitored Individuals
If you believe your image or vehicle has been captured by an SCT+ camera, you may:
- Contact the property owner where the camera is deployed
- Contact us at privacy@sctplus.com with details about the location and approximate time
- Request deletion of your personal data, subject to the property owner's authorization and applicable law
8. Security Measures
We implement robust security measures to protect your information:
- Encryption: AES-256 encryption at rest, TLS 1.3 encryption in transit
- Access Controls: Role-based access control with multi-factor authentication required for all platform access
- Audit Logging: Comprehensive audit trails for all data access and system changes
- Network Security: Firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and DDoS protection

9. Children's Privacy
SCT+ Services are designed for business use and are not directed at children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Our cameras are deployed in commercial and industrial environments, not in areas primarily used by children.
If you believe we have inadvertently collected information about a child under 13, please contact us at privacy@sctplus.com and we will take steps to delete that information promptly.
10. International Data
SCT+ operates exclusively within the United States. All data collected through our Services is processed and stored within the United States. We do not transfer data internationally or offer Services outside of the US.
If you access our website from outside the United States, please be aware that any information you provide may be transferred to and processed in the United States.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technologies, or legal requirements. When we make material changes:
- We will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy
- We will notify Customers via email at least 30 days before material changes take effect
- We will post a prominent notice on our website
- Continued use of our Services after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy
